Service callOven sensor open
The temperature probe inside the oven (the thin rod at the back wall, top) is reading open — the control sees no temperature at all. Older ranges printed F3.
- Switch the breaker off (unplug a gas range) for one minute and set a bake. A sensor code that clears and stays gone was a power blip.
- Look at the probe at the back of the oven cavity: it is straight and nothing has knocked it (a rack slammed in, a pan pushed back).
F3E0 that returns is the oven temperature sensor — a part behind the back wall, a technician's job. The cooktop still works meanwhile.
F3E0 after a reset is a service call on the oven sensor. On a machine under warranty, file it as a warranty call; the burners run while you wait.
